About Us

ABOUT FYVE STAR, Inc.

FYVE STAR, Inc. is a mission-focused procurement and deployment company supporting critical government, industrial, aviation, infrastructure, and environmental operational requirements nationally and internationally.

FYVE STAR helps support critical missions by connecting operational needs with real-world solutions through procurement, deployment coordination, strategic sourcing, and relationship-driven execution.

Founded in 1991 and incorporated in 1993, FYVE STAR has evolved through decades of relationship-driven business development, government contracting, logistics coordination, specialty procurement, operational deployment support, and adaptive systems integration.

Originally operating as a procurement and contract support organization, the company expanded into aviation support, infrastructure operations, de-icing systems, environmental stewardship, industrial supply, water technologies, and emerging resiliency-focused operational systems designed to support future mission requirements.

Today, FYVE STAR operates at the intersection of legacy operational experience and next-generation systems integration — combining decades of contract execution history with emerging technologies, strategic partnerships, and deployment-focused operational coordination.

Grounded in longstanding Utah roots while supporting operations nationally and internationally, FYVE STAR continues to operate through a relationship-based philosophy focused on adaptability, execution, long-term operational continuity, and mission-focused problem solving.

OUR APPROACH

Throughout its operational history, FYVE STAR has worked across a broad range of industries, contract environments, and mission requirements — developing a reputation for adaptability, resource coordination, and identifying pathways forward where conventional procurement or sourcing methods often fell short.

While many organizations focus narrowly within a single category, FYVE STAR evolved by building relationships, opening operational doors, coordinating specialized capabilities, and helping connect solutions to real-world government, industrial, aviation, infrastructure, and environmental needs.

Long before the term “systems integration” became common within modern technology sectors, FYVE STAR routinely operated in an integrative role — identifying specialized capabilities, coordinating vendors and technical teams, sourcing difficult-to-locate equipment, and helping deliver operational solutions tailored to unique project requirements.

The company’s operating philosophy centers on execution, relationship continuity, adaptability, and mission-focused problem solving — helping bridge operational gaps between technologies, vendors, logistics, deployment requirements, and end-user needs.

This flexibility has allowed FYVE STAR Inc. to support projects ranging from industrial supply and aviation support to infrastructure operations, environmental initiatives, specialty equipment coordination, and emerging systems-based deployment strategies.

FYVE STAR’s operational history includes decades of engagement across aviation, infrastructure, industrial supply, environmental stewardship, logistics coordination, public-sector support, specialty procurement, and mission-focused deployment activities.

The company’s leadership has also participated in civic, preservation, community, and public-sector engagement efforts reflecting FYVE STAR’s longstanding operational philosophy centered around continuity, trust, adaptability, and relationship-based execution.

OPERATIONAL HISTORY & DIVERSE CONTRACT PERFORMANCE

Over the course of its operational history, FYVE STAR has supported an unusually diverse range of government, industrial, infrastructure, aviation, environmental, and specialty deployment projects — reflecting the company’s long-standing ability to adapt, coordinate, and execute outside traditional contracting boundaries.

Past projects and contract support activities have included:

  • Construction support for a custom automated six-station batting cage facility at Hill Air Force Base
  • Coordination and delivery of specialized equipment and industrial systems
  • Development support for a custom-built hydraulic compression press associated with aerospace-related O-ring manufacturing requirements
  • Procurement and sourcing solutions for difficult-to-locate or discontinued operational equipment
  • Material handling and industrial support equipment deployment
  • Long-term de-icing supply and operational support activities
  • Environmental and infrastructure-related project support
  • Government procurement and logistics coordination across multiple sectors

FYVE STAR also held an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) painting contract supporting facilities and operational infrastructure associated with Hill Air Force Base, including work extending into the Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR) environment.

As part of the company’s broader public-sector and operational history, FYVE STAR leadership was also awarded a long-term State of Utah contract associated with the publication and operational coordination of Utah Preservation Magazine. The project continued successfully for approximately ten years through preservation and historical initiatives associated with the State of Utah, the Utah Historical Society, and the American Heritage Foundation.

These projects represent only part of FYVE STAR’s broader operational history supporting mission-focused government, industrial, aviation, infrastructure, logistics, and environmental requirements across multiple industries and operational environments.

Together, these projects reflect FYVE STAR’s broader ability to bridge industries, coordinate specialized capabilities, assemble technical resources, and help create operational pathways supporting evolving mission requirements across diverse sectors and environments.

STRATEGIC EVOLUTION & NEXT-GENERATION SYSTEMS

Beginning in 2018, FYVE STAR entered a new phase of strategic expansion and operational evolution with the addition of Sue Melke, bringing decades of international branding, strategic business development, and emerging technology engagement experience into the company’s broader direction.

As global infrastructure, environmental, resiliency, and resource-security priorities accelerated — particularly following the COVID-era shift in supply chains and operational deployment models — FYVE STAR expanded beyond traditional procurement support into a broader systems-focused operational framework.

Today, FYVE STAR is expanding into emerging technologies, environmental systems, infrastructure resiliency, water independence systems, atmospheric water harvesting, PFAS response technologies, material liberation and resource recovery systems, and mission-focused operational deployment strategies.

FYVE STAR is not redefining who it is — the company continues to build upon decades of operational experience, procurement expertise, strategic relationships, and mission-focused execution while evolving into next-generation systems integration and deployment support.

This evolution continues to shape FYVE STAR’s operational direction across government, industrial, commercial, aviation, environmental, and infrastructure sectors worldwide.
